Installed Windows 7 Beta on a Toshaiba Satellite A105-4034, Upon completion all went well with exception of not seeing 2 Items (1) Unknown device (which turned out to be the touchpad) and (2) Mass storage controller. I went to Toshiba web site downloaded the touchpad drivers for Vista and worked with no issue. However upon searching for the Mass storage driver was told by Toshiba that I needed to update my 'Vista' with SP1. Click on the following links for the driver package readme info./DEVICE DRIVER/Readme.txt This package supports the following driver models:USB Mass Storage. Mass Storage Controller Driver for Windows 7 32 bit. Mass Storage Controller Driver Download. Windows 10 IoT 32bit, Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit. I would presume that being a newer version of OS that SP1 would be included already. Am I correct or is there something else I need to do? The system seems to be working ok so far though haven't tested that detailed yet but would like to have all devices known and correctly installed. Can someone advise as to where I can download the Mass Storage Controller Driver for this or is there something more in the Beta that I need to do? I would try this if you did a dual boot. Go into Device manager, for the unknown device, go to the drivers tab and select 'update' driver. Tell it to search in a specific location the windows system32 drivers folder of your Vista partition. That should find the vista drivers for your missing hardware. OR If you did an inplace upgrade, and your Toshiba has a folder on the hard drive that contains all the drivers (not the hidden backup partition), you can have Win7 search there. That helped me out to install missing drivers when I installed win7. I would try this if you did a dual boot.
